Scenic winter break and skiing in Tirol

In winter Seenland Alpbachtal turns into a picture postcard winter wonderland second to none, offering all the facilities and infrastructure for skiing and mountaineering enthusiasts, as well as rest and relaxation for those who prefer a winter vacation at a more leisurely pace. Thanks to a lift link Ski Juwel Alpbachtal Wildschönau ranks among the top ten ski resorts in Tirol, offering 145 kilometers of slopes with a reliable snow cover and 46 cutting-edge uphill facilities. There is plenty of skiable terrain for everyone, from nursery slopes for children and refreshers to challenging ski runs for intermediate and professional skiers. Top-to-bottom skiing is possible in Inneralpbach, Alpbach and Reith.

Reitherkogel is particularly popular among families with children. The latter are introduced to skiing in a particularly relaxed and playful way. Cozy mountain restaurants and lodges tempt skiers to drop in and sample traditional fare or to relax on the sundeck and enjoy stunning views of snow-capped mountains. Off-piste activities in Alpbach include sledging, cross-country skiing, and enjoying romantic rides in a horse-drawn sleigh.
